Construction Review Technician (Experienced)

Goals & Responsibilities

This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee and inspect construction progress ensuring compliance with engineering standards


• Validate materials, grade, and workmanship through precise field checks


• Maintain accurate reports, drawings, and project documentation


• Communicate professionally with contractors, engineers, and municipal representatives


• Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively


• Lead on-site coordination and safety efforts to ensure project efficiency


• Mentor junior technical staff and support their professional growth


• Provide constructability insight and feedback to design teams

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:

• 5+ years of experience in municipal construction inspection, engineering, or related field


• Knowledge of construction methods, municipal specifications, and industry best practices


• Proven ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements


• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Proficiency with field reporting technology and digital documentation


• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
