Construction Safety Coordinator

Industrial Access provides innovative and affordable solutions for high angle industrial needs, like chimney & smokestack inspections and maintenance.  We are currently hiring Safety Coordinators to join our dynamic team and meet demands of our growing business!  The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safety of Industrial Access personnel at client sites. You will work closely with our project managers and site supervisors to implement and enforce safety policies and procedures that comply with all relevant regulations and standards.  

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for the site
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
• Provide safety training to all personnel on the construction site
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in construction safety
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to travel 100% 
• Knowledge of MSHA is a plus

Target Rate: $25/hr + OT (1.5x) for any hours over 8/day or 40/week 

Travel: On the road, 100% travel

Location: Candidates can live anywhere in the U.S. with easy access to a major airport. 

Expenses: All travel expenses are paid by IA + $50 per diem for meals
