Title: General Construction Superintendent

Our company is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management and will be able to lead our on-site teams to successful project completion. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.


 


Superintendent worker needed for commercial/residential construction.


This is a full-time, position Monday – Friday


 


Responsibilities:


 




  • Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are completed safely, on-time, and within budget.


  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the project schedule.


  • Communicate and coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that work is completed as planned and to resolve any issues that arise.


  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and quality standards.


  • Monitor and manage project costs to ensure that they are within budget.


  • Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed on the job site.


  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure that all project documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.


  • Ensure that all project close-out activities are completed in accordance with the project schedule.


  • Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and enhance their performance.


 


Requirements:


 




  • At least 10 years of experience in construction management.


  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.


  • Strong organizational and project management skills.


  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.


  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.


  • Understanding of construction safety standards and procedures.


  • Experience managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.


 


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


 


Schedule Adherence: The Superintendent should ensure that the project is completed on time and within the scheduled timeline. The KPI measures the percentage of project tasks that are completed on time, according to the schedule.


 


Cost Management: The Superintendent should monitor project costs to ensure that they are within budget. The KPI measures the percentage of project tasks that are completed within the budget.


 


Safety Performance: The Superintendent should ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed on the job site. The KPI measures the number of safety incidents or accidents on the job site.


 


Quality Performance: The Superintendent should ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and quality standards. The KPI measures the percentage of project tasks that meet the quality standards.


 


Mentoring and Training: The Superintendent should mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and enhance their performance. The KPI measures the performance improvement of junior staff members under the Superintendent's mentorship. Job Description:
