Construction Superintendent – Data Center Conversion & Infrastructure

Location: Michigan City, IN (Relocation or Travel Support) Compensation: Market -Leading Base + 20% Annual Bonus + Premium Per Diem Role Type: Permanent / Full -Time (On -Site 5 days/week)

The Opportunity

We are representing a National Powerhouse in Industrial Development on a unique "Industrial -to -Data Center" conversion. Our client manages a national portfolio of over 90 million sq. ft. and is currently the Lead Contractor on a high -complexity 150MW facility redevelopment in Michigan City.

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent who excels at complex retrofits and infrastructure builds. This project involves a 350,000 sq. ft. shell renovation—including a 18ft roof raise and significant flatwork—alongside the construction of a private dedicated substation. This is a flagship site for a global tech leader, and successful delivery will lead to senior leadership opportunities across 30+ upcoming hyperscale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conversion Management: Lead the on -site transformation of a legacy industrial facility, overseeing high -risk structural modifications and heavy civil work.
  

• Substation Oversight: Drive the field execution of the private substation build, ensuring civil foundations and electrical high -voltage paths are ready for energization.
  

• Tech -Native Field Leadership: Use Procore and 3D Rendering/BIM as your primary field tools. We expect our Supers to navigate models on tablets to solve clashing issues in the field rather than waiting for office RFIs.
  

• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage the "dance" of MEP, civil, and structural trades within a repurposed footprint where space and sequencing are tightly constrained.
  

• Mentorship Culture: Lead a hand -picked, "over -staffed" team. You will be expected to mentor Assistant Supers and Field Engineers, prepping them for future site rotations as the division expands.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record as a Superintendent on Data Center, Heavy Industrial, or Large -Scale Retrofit projects.
  

• Infrastructure Knowledge: Comfortable overseeing civil and high -voltage work related to substations and mission -critical power paths.
  

• The "Hungry" Factor: We value "tech -forward" leaders who embrace weekly industry shifts. You should be a "Procore Power User" who prefers digital logs and real -time data over traditional paper methods.
  

• Career Focus: We are looking for an individual who wants to "embed" in the company long -term. This isn't a one -project contract; it's a career move.
  

• Presence: 100% on -site role (5 days a week) in the Michigan City, IN area.
