Construction Superintendent / Field Manager / Landscape Manager

This Landscape Manager will always apply strong leadership skills as well as a positive attitude to team members and clients. This foreman is expected to work with landscape construction of patios, retaining walls, seat walls, columns, stairs, walkways, lighting, etc. Softscape installations with rock, plant materials, and more. Safety is a top priority and is expected to follow all safety procedures and protocols. This manager must be able to operate all landscape equipment and be willing to teach others as well as learn from them. Must be able to read design plans and understand landscape construction. Must have knowledge of retaining walls, patios, planting of trees, planting of shrubs, grading, seeding, sodding, and drainage. Will do up-sales with existing clients. A clean driving record and valid drivers license is required. A CDL is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Preferred minimum 5+ years of experience in landscape construction.


• Must be able to communicate effectively, positively, and problem solve.


• Must be able to lead, organize, and assign tasks to team members.


• Must be able to prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.


• Must be willing and able to do all and any tasks that are assigned to other team members.


• General understanding of labor and material costs as it relates to bidding.


• Come to work with a glass half full mentality to maintain company culture.


• Must show consistent professionalism and good judgement.


• Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions.


• Frequently lift or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
