Overview of the Role

Join a leading renewable energy organization as their on-site Construction Supervisor - E&C (Civil/Mechanical Superintendent) for utility-scale solar projects. As the owner's representative, you'll ensure excellence in safety, quality, and schedule adherence while overseeing critical civil and structural construction aspects of innovative solar installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner's representative to monitor EPC contractor compliance with contractual commitments

• Review and enforce safety documents, policies, and SWPPP implementation

• Oversee civil/mechanical construction activities through daily field walks and inspections

• Perform quality assurance/control inspections and documentation

• Monitor contractor progress and maintain project schedules

• Attend safety meetings, craft tailgates, and management coordination sessions

• Track and resolve open action items and punchlist completion

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial experience in civil and structural construction

• Demonstrated ability to comprehend construction drawings and specifications

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing people and contractors

• Excellent organizational abilities including scheduling and progress reporting

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience with construction management software and data entry systems

• Clear communication skills for interfacing with contractors and third parties
