Location: 8525 Jefferson St. NE, Albuquerque, NM | Full-Time: Non-exempt, 40 or more hours per week | Pay: $25 - $30/hour, DOE | Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with some overnight, weekend, early morning, and travel required Benefits: PTO, 401(k) with match, health & disability insurance, gym discounts, and more!

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Construction Technician to join our Albuquerque team and help bring our store concepts to life through hands-on work and project coordination.  

This position blends fieldwork and light project management. You’ll support the build-out and maintenance of Dion’s and Tula’s locations, performing a wide range of construction tasks and helping coordinate vendors, materials, and schedules. What you’ll do:

• Execute hands-on commercial construction tasks, including framing, interior finishes, site prep, and general build-out work.
• Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure quality execution.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and well-organized job sites following OSHA and company standards.
• Assist with day-to-day planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction activities.
• Support site supervision by helping manage subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Track material usage, monitor progress, and maintain construction logs and schedules.
• Participate in quality control checks and recommend field-based improvements.

What you’ll need:

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction. 
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction workflows, timelines, and documentation.
• Familiarity with construction management workflows, timelines, and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans, specs, and codes.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, PlanGrid, or Bluebeam is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
