About The Role

Our Privacy team helps clients build, operationalize, and scale their privacy programs by combining deep privacy expertise with hands-on technical capabilities. Our services include privacy program development, regulatory compliance, privacy technology implementation, and data governance for clients across all major markets around the world.

We are currently looking for a driven, technically minded Consultant to join our dedicated Privacy team, a specialized group working at the intersection of privacy and technology. This is a privacy engineering–focused position. The Consultant will support the development of integrations and automations within privacy technology platforms, build solutions for conducting web crawling to identify tracking technologies (e.g., cookies, pixels, and tags), and support data architecture projects, including data integrations with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks. The role also includes the hands-on configuration and implementation of privacy management platforms (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc, Ketch), including Data Inventory and Mapping solutions, Consent Management Platforms, and Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) systems.

Although we are looking for a strong technical resource, the successful candidate must also be comfortable with the broader aspects of privacy consulting, including project management, privacy assessments, policy development, monitoring regulatory developments, and presenting results and recommendations to clients. Given the diverse nature of the work, we are looking for someone who has flexibility, a go-getter mentality, and is willing to learn and work across different offerings and industries. This is a very hands-on position, requiring a high level of organization and technical curiosity.

  • Conduct technical testing of website consent and tracking technologies, including capturing and analyzing network traffic (e.g., HAR files) across defined user journeys and consent scenarios (e.g., "Reject All," Global Privacy Control), identifying cookies and other browser storage, determining whether tags and scripts transmit data to third parties after consent is rejected, documenting findings and risk prioritization in client-ready reports, and supporting remediation such as consent management platform and tag manager configuration and post-remediation retesting;
  • Prepare client deliverables (e.g., privacy assessments, gap analysis reports, policies and procedures, strategic memos, and presentations) and help present findings and recommendations to clients, under the direction of senior team members;
  • Monitor U.S. federal, state, and international privacy developments (e.g., CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR) and help assess their impact on client programs;
  • Deliver high-quality work focused on client needs;
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ask the necessary questions to manage firm and client data responsibly.
