Job Description - Consultant, Talent Effectiveness

The Consultant in Learning and Development is a skilled professional focused on designing, implementing, and assessing tools and technologies to bridge performance gaps and elevate business outcomes through an exceptional learning experience. This role encompasses crafting tailored training modules aligned with the company's strategic direction and competencies. The Learning Consultant adeptly delivers learning activities using various methods, adapting their approach to ensure meaningful engagement across audiences, including staff and team members.

Thriving on client partnerships, the Consultant fosters trusted relationships and collaborates in strategic consultations with experts, leaders, and team members to identify development needs. They promptly address learning questions, guiding employees to pertinent resources. In collaboration with other People Group leaders, the Consultant oversees design, piloting, scheduling, evaluation, and refinement of training initiatives. Proficient in communication, influencing, and public speaking, they articulate concepts well and engage audiences effectively. With a solutions-oriented mindset, they remain agile in fast-paced settings and exhibit exceptional project management and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains trusted client relationships and participates in strategic consultation sessions with subject matter experts, leaders, and team members to identify gaps and assess learning and development needs.
Responds to learning and development related questions from team members and guides them to applicable training or resource solutions.
Uses data to identify talent and skill needs, measure success of solutions, and quantify business outcomes.
Develops and improves training programs and materials, including participant guides, facilitator guides, activities, and assessments.
Designs technical training programs using RISE Articulate.
Experience with instructional design.
Serves as the program owner for courses or programs, as assigned, including designing, piloting, scheduling, promoting, reviewing, revising, and evaluating training programs.
Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training programs through audits of specific courses and curriculum. Tracks and reports relevant metrics to demonstrate results and return on investment.
Researches, evaluates, and recommends emerging and current trends in learning and technology for application to support business objectives.
Demonstrates proficient presentation and facilitation skills.
Exhibits excellent communication and influencing skills and demonstrates listening and judgment skills when interacting with others.
Explains concepts clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing.
Implements solutions with a sense of urgency and builds trust with others by delivering on commitments.
Works independently or collaboratively as part of a team to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Possesses project management skills.
Exhibits problem solving skills using creativity, innovation, and a solutions-focused attitude.
Demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail; prioritizes multiple tasks and programs and completes them under time constraints.
Maintains a professional and positive attitude.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in relevant field required with one to two years related training support experience.
Experience in corporate training environment and in professional services environment preferred.
Proficiency in project management, strong interpersonal skills, and adaptability to dynamic environments are crucial.

Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
Experience in delivering training via online meeting technology preferred.
Zoom skills, Articulate, Camtasia and experience with Learning Management Systems with eLearning authoring tools a plus.

Certificates and Licenses :
Valid driver's license required.
