You will manage projects and utilize market insight reports, technology platforms and other content for health care providers and suppliers to elevate Vizient\u2019s thought leadership expertise in the Capital Domain. You will facilitate meetings and discussions with member service line leaders and executives to drive decision making. You will identify trends, utilization, serviceability, and recommendations for capital equipment strategic plans on behalf of member organizations.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Manage, monitor and track the development of calendar deliverables for capital equipment within member organizations.\n\n * Present findings and recommendations to internal, member and supplier leadership (CFOs, COOs, service line and clinical leaders).\n\n * Address member and supplier needs by leveraging expertise and recommend relevant service offerings.\n\n * Support external engagements by leveraging health care industry expertise relative to Capital Equipment.\n\n * Support decision making on data included in analytical tools and technology platforms.\n\n * Cultivate working relationships across the organization by acting as a knowledge expert on projects related to market insights. Collaborate with key contacts and strategic leadership in member, supplier and industry organizations by building credibility and trust through ongoing advisory partnerships.\n\n * Lead projects and partner with other subject matter experts to deliver thought leadership to members around capital equipment.\n\n * Plan and manage projects including budgeting, timing, scope, tracking and resources to execute in expected value.\n\n * Leverage specialized industry knowledge and relationships to promote solutions.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Relevant degree preferred.\n\n * 7 or more years of experience required in Medical Capital Equipment.\n\n * Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and lead large projects required.\n\n * Strong project management skill set required.\n\n * Clinical and data background in the health care industry strongly preferred.\n\n * Previous responsibility and knowledge of health care purchasing decisions preferred.\n\n * Ability to travel regularly throughout the year to support client relationships and business objectives.\n * \n\n\nEstimated Hiring Range:\n\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
