APPLY TODAY!!!! Full Time Consumer Assistance Representative

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Consumer Assistance representatives are responsible for processing all written correspondence, handling inbound phone calls received through the various consumer help phone lines, and assisting with ACDV disputes.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Answer calls and resolve inquiries from the FTC line, Cash inquiries line, Branch referred line, and Complaint response inquires.
  • Document written and verbal disputes and complaints on the related account(s).
  • Maintain and update all applicable systems according to established policies, procedures and department work standards.
  • Receive, scan and process written correspondence through applicable system
  • Receive faxes, certified mail, priority mail and emails and process appropriately.
  • Review, revise, and approve special letter request submitted by CBCS employees.
  • Accurately complete ACDV and AUD requests through eOSCAR.
  • Ensure all process and procedure documentation are kept current.
  • Client Services Representatives must adhere to and be compliant with FDCPA, FCRA, FACTA, Regulation E, HIPAA, TCPA and other applicable federal, state and local laws as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Abide by all policies as outlined within the company handbook.

Requirements

  • Experience in collections or a call center preferred.
  • General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exemplary customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work with various computer systems both internal and external.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and work well with peers, superiors and subordinates.
  • Ability to deescalate and resolve conflicts
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes with ease.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
