Consumer Finance Credit Analyst

Renuity is seeking a Consumer Finance Credit Analyst to support our growing sales operations by ensuring smooth and efficient credit approvals for customer financing. This role will be critical in facilitating sales by working closely with customers and lenders, managing credit applications, and ensuring contract adjustments are handled promptly. The Credit Analyst will also provide high-level customer service while managing administrative tasks to support financing processes.  

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate and process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately to secure timely financing approvals that support overall sales performance

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide real-time credit solutions and ensure smooth handoffs between teams

• Handle administrative and operational tasks related to financing, including document processing, compliance checks, and approval tracking (approximately 20% of the role)

• Support loan modifications by working with customers and internal teams to adjust financing based on changes to project scope or contract terms

• Deliver outstanding service and communication, ensuring a seamless and professional financing experience for every customer

• Be available for after-hours support, including evenings and weekends, to assist with urgent financing needs or contract changes that may arise outside standard business hours

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in Home Improvement Financing is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of lending programs and customer expectations

• Background in Automotive Finance, Consumer Lending, or related credit environments, with experience managing approvals and customer-facing solutions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, as well as comfort working with CRM systems and financial platforms

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-first mindset and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams

• Flexibility to respond to after-hours requests when needed—someone dependable, resourceful, and comfortable being “on-call” during peak business demand periods
