About the Job:

Do you have a passion for contributing to the growth of a nationally recognized brand? Do you get excited about amazing new food products? Are you a detail-oriented critical thinker who thrives on organization, structure, and keeping projects moving behind the scenes with a sense of urgency?

The Consumer Insights Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting Taco Bell’s Marketing Department as part of the Consumer Insights team. This role is all about organization and coordination — keeping ever changing projects running smoothly, not managing others. The Consumer Insights Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the execution of consumer research by processing and coding invoices, preparing documents, tracking timelines, and coordinating logistics across multiple projects that overlap. This role ensures the team runs efficiently as the team seeks valuable consumer feedback on new products and experiences.

With this position, the opportunities are endless: first looks at exciting new initiatives, frequent interaction with Taco Bell consumers, and visibility with Taco Bell leaders, franchisees, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.

The Consumer Insights Coordinator will report directly to the Consumer Insights Senior Associate Manager and work closely providing administrative and project coordination support.

The Day-to-Day:

Administrative & Coordination (Primary Focus)

  • Provide direct support to the Senior Associate Manager with coordinating timelines, deliverables, and project tasks.

  • Manage administrative processes, including supporting the team with processing and coding invoices in the online portal, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

  • Prepare accurate reports, conduct data checks, and create presentations to support research initiatives.

  • Plan and prepare communications for focus group participants and third-party vendors.

  • Provide occasional administrative support to the broader Consumer Insights team.

Research Support & Consumer Engagement (Secondary Focus)

    • Support online and in-person focus groups with setting up focus groups, ordering ingredients, and technology and if needed troubleshooting issues with urgency.

    • Attend new product training with FIT and assist the CI Consultants and Kitchen staff with administrative support for that specific project.

    • Serve as the focus group backroom coordinator to the team, cross functional partners, moderator and kitchen staff ensuring sessions are positive and effective; in addition to serving food to consumers.

    • As needed, support Sr Associate Manger and assist the broader CI team with the planning and coordination of research tests.

    • Partner frequently with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

    • Provide occasional backup coverage for the Sr. Associate Manager, including scheduling Field Consultants, maintaining the Consumer Insights Research calendar, supporting off-site consumer tests, preparing shipments, and serving as the secondary point of contact with Consumer Insights vendors.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience).

  • 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Coordinator for a mid-large size business or corporation.

  • 1–3 years in project coordination, marketing, or administrative support.

  • 1+ years of experience in restaurant/food service, or back-of-house kitchen operations experience (preferred but not required).

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and budget-tracking skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Process-oriented with excellent attention to detail; able to follow structure, take direction, and juggle multiple priorities.

  • Skilled communicator and collaborator; able to build relationships and work well under pressure with internal teams, external vendors, and consumers.

  • Resourceful problem-solver with a customer-service mindset and flexible, adaptable work style.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with PowerPoint and Monday.com a plus.

  • Enthusiastic Taco Bell fan, comfortable interacting with consumers during research activities.

  • Comfortable with in-person work and able to stand, walk, and sit for 4+ hours with periodic breaks.
