Consumer Lending Processor

Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for processing indirect loans and for providing support to branch loan staff with consumer loan documentation, preparation, and processing. Must ensure accuracy, completion, and compliance of assigned consumer loan applications. Additionally responsible for providing assistance to consumer loan underwriting and members as needed. May require providing assistance to members over the phone or through digital channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Must possess a high degree of organizational skills for maximum job performance and be able to demonstrate sound judgment. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to prepare and complete detailed documentation and perform mathematical computation is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Clear and effective communication abilities required. Must be able to view a terminal screen and operate a computer keyboard. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process indirect consumer loan documents
• Provide administrative support to branch loan staff
• Process and assemble loan information and documents from branch lenders
• Review loan applications to ensure accuracy, completion, and compliance
• Provide assistance to consumer loan underwriting staff and members as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
