 Business Hours: (Must have availability to work within the hours listed)

Monday-Wednesday 8-5pm, Thursday & Friday 8-6pm, Saturday 9-1pm. If an employee is scheduled for a Saturday, a half or full day will be given during the week to meet the 40 hour work week schedule.

Eligible for hybrid schedule after training period, up to 2 days work from home, upon management approval.

Starting pay for this position is $25.50-27.75/hr based on experience. After training period, eligible for pay increase once lending limits are in place.

The primary focus of this position is to underwrite all consumer loan applications submitted in accordance with credit union policy to include approvals, denials, and counter offers.

• Review and evaluate loan applications and documentation to ensure the loan is prepared and documented within credit union policy and procedure. Communicate decision to Financial Center and sales personnel.


• Monitor the necessary queues to identify loans requiring review. Work with the Financial Center and Sales staff to obtain additional information if necessary.


• Analyze loan documentation including proof of income and credit bureau reports to calculate debt ratio, loan to value, unsecured debt ratio and any other calculations necessary for loan decisioning.


• Ensures that all loan applications are thoroughly reviewed, including credit bureau reports, with the intent of maximizing approval options, including cross-sell opportunities.


• Support Financial Center and Sales staff to service members by providing information regarding services and programs offered by the credit union. Provides Wow! service in each interaction, promoting and participating in a sales and service culture consistent with the credit union’s mission of exceeding member expectations.

 Candidates should have a high school diploma/GED equivalent or higher with a minimum of 1-year banking experience. Credit analysis experience required. Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency to multitask within a busy call center environment.
