Containment Facility Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The Containment Facility Supervisor is an integral member of the CCS EnerStar team. The Containment Facility Supervisor is primarily responsible for being highly proficient in coordinating and maintaining daily operations over the shop and yard to enhance overall jobsite productivity. The Containment Facility Supervisor will manage and track inventory, implement processes, perform inspections and adhere to regulations.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the activities in the upkeep and maintenance of the yard, materials, vehicles


• Ensure that the yard is kept in a clean and organized manner


• Inspect equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition


• Inspect vehicles for DOT compliance


• Working with DOT Supervisor to perform random inspections


• Ensure all assets have annual inspections, both sticker and actual inspection


• Ensure all assets have license plates, registrations, insurance


• Assist with DOT audits


• Ensure repairs are being completed properly and in a timely manner


• Fit out trucks with DOT required items


• Ensure all fire extinguishers are up to date and certified


• Assist DM with DVIR compliance


• Assist DM with HOS Compliance


• Perform yard security inspections


• Optimize workflow processes to maximize inventory availability and minimize bottlenecks in operations

• Manage inventory of equipment and supplies and replenish as necessary


• Additional responsibilities: as identified and assigned

Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by EnerStar.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:  

• Experience in yard or logistics setting preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


• Expertise in yard operations, including loading and unloading of trucks, inventory management, and basic equipment maintenance


• Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment


• Proficiency in using computer software programs for inventory tracking and reporting


• Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance among team members
