Content Operations Coordinator needed for a contract opportunity with our client in New York, NY.
  • 6-month contract
  • $22/hr. rate
  • Will be a hybrid schedule in New York. NY
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States

SUMMARY:
Our Content Operations team is seeking an enthusiastic Content Operations Coordinator to join the team; responsible for the supply of content across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate is consumer obsessed, exceptionally organized, technically proficient, and eager to learn and support a variety of critical functions across the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Content Operations, and will work alongside cross-functional teams to assist in the distribution of content. The role’s main function is to implement programming strategy decisions in scheduling tools by assigning key entitlement data to ensure speedy, accurate, and consistent delivery of our expansive library and new-to-market programming for new partner and market launches around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor programming schedules across brands and clearly communicate publish dates and flag delays/changes to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure non-video elements are in place for publishing including metadata and images.
  • Create playlists for premiere content and library content to launch across direct-to-consumer platforms.
  • Troubleshoot publishing issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the Programming, Distribute Operations, Media Logistic, and Merchandising.
  • Assist upper-level team members on ad-hoc assignments.
  • Manage content entitlement attributes in WBD’s scheduling tools.
  • Analyze current and planned platform content offerings to ensure compliance with programming strategy and partner agreements.
  • Support troubleshooting of content scheduling and ops issues.
  • Enthusiastically contribute to the achievement of revenue goals at every opportunity.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-3 years of experience in TV programming or scheduling, digital media, production/post-production, or other similar roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to take direction from more than one individual.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook a G-suite.
  • Experience with content programming/scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and effectively.
  • Can adapt to a remote-work environment, comfortable on video-conferencing tools.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Independently motivated, resilient, energized by a fast paced Digital Media environment.
  • Extremely organized, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong digital media industry knowledge and technical savvy desired.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
