Content Specialist (English)

Our client is expanding into global markets that demand expertly crafted English content aligned with SEO best practices, with a focus on expertise, effectiveness, and trust. They are seeking a native-level English writer/editor with strong SEO knowledge to take on the role of Content Specialist. This individual will be responsible for editing, managing, and overseeing all English-language iGaming content aimed at international audiences.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated to source, refine, and publish high-performing iGaming content across multiple formats and channels, while working closely with internal Content and SEO teams to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary stakeholder for content editing across multiple iGaming affiliate brands.
• Organise, update, and modify existing content in line with SEO and content guidelines.
• Edit, proofread, and enhance third-party content while managing outsourced writers and their delivery timelines.
• Add and manage large volumes of content to websites efficiently, handling a dynamic workload and prioritising tasks to meet strict deadlines.
• Work within WordPress backends to improve or recommend enhancements to site design and functionality.
• Conduct fact-checking and independent research to ensure content effectiveness and accuracy.
• Maintain and develop distinct tone-of-voice styles tailored to each product and brand.
• Contribute innovative ideas to support the growth and evolution of the content portfolio.
• Collaborate with freelancers from diverse cultural backgrounds, with a proven ability to externalise content production effectively.
• Demonstrate proficiency in platforms like Upwork or similar for freelance collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the iGaming sector, ideally in a content writing or editing role.
• Native-level proficiency in English with exceptional writing and proofreading skills.
• Solid experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Advanced digital literacy, including proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Photoshop.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and keyword research practices.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong understanding of the iGaming market.
