Content Specialist - Standards & Practices

We are seeking a Standards & Practices Lead to ensure that all programming initiatives comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines, as well as internal content standards. This role will be responsible for reviewing scripts, rough cuts, and final edits to flag potential issues related to language, violence, sexual content, advertising standards, and cultural sensitivity.

The goal is to minimize legal and reputational risk while safeguarding brand integrity, all while supporting creative teams with the freedom they need to bring stories to life. The Standards & Practices Lead will also contribute to setting and maintaining the company’s rating system, helping programming and product teams properly classify content and identify titles requiring age-gating.

Key Responsibilities:

  Review scripts, rough cuts, and final edits for compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

  Identify and address concerns related to language, violence, sexual content, advertising, and cultural sensitivity.

  Provide clear, actionable feedback to creative teams to balance compliance with creative freedom.

  Assist in establishing and maintaining the company’s rating system and age-gating guidelines.

  Serve as a trusted partner to ensure brand protection and audience-appropriate content.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Proven experience in standards & practices, compliance, content review, or related roles.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of media regulations, advertising standards, and cultural sensitivity considerations.

  Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills.

  Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while upholding compliance standards.
