Job Title: Contents Manager


Location: Las Vegas, NV

The Contents Manager's key role is to manage and supervise the inventorying and pack-out of soiled/damaged contents and textiles. The Contents Manager will use a skillset revolving around communication, leadership, organization, team/time management, and many more in order to ensure the successful pack-out, restoration, and return of contents to our commercial and residential clients.

Supervisory Responsibilities





  • Management of a group of contents technicians and their schedules

  • Auditing of technician certification to ensure compliance with Franchise Agreement and Program work

  • Schedule and hold meetings with contents technicians, train and supervise technicians on better business practices, identify business opportunities, and strategize

  • Ensure the team's performance of contents pack-out, contents pack-in, and cleaning/re-installation services in accordance with Paul Davis and industry specifications

  • Facilitate team huddles daily

  • Ensure the crews are always ready to deploy to a site where emergency services are needed

  • Actively participate in the "ROTOR" process and assist technicians move up through the technician development program

  • Facilitate monthly Goal Setting & Review meetings with all technicians



Responsibilities




  • Coordinate the cleaning and deodorization of items in the contents facility from fire/smoke damage

  • Training of technicians

  • Follow all TPA and program guidelines

  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations

  • Track metrics during monthly goal setting

  • Meet operational objectives of gross margin and brand experience

  • Build partnerships to improve performance with vendors and tradesmen



Required Skills & Abilities




  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Knowledge of practices and procedures of water, fire, and mold trades

  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and use of solvents

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Extremely organized and highly detail-oriented

  • Positive, can-do attitude

  • Excellent customer service

  • Team player

  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures

  • Ability to supervise and evaluate employees

  • Ability to lead and develop a team

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workloads

  • Ability to develop, learn, and properly apply operating and work procedures

  • Ability to read and interpret written and oral instructions

  • Ability to work cooperatively with employees, contractors, vendors, outside agencies, and the public

  • Ability to pass a respirator physical and FIT test



Education & Experience




  • 2+ years' restoration/mitigation experience a must

  • BSc in related field preferred

  • IICRC certifications highly desired



Physical Requirements




  • Lift (constantly) 5 - 40 pounds, lift (frequently) 20 - 100 pounds

  • May involve significant standing/walking/pushing/pulling

  • Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling

  • Ability to work in confined spaces

  • Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat

  • Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods

  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another

  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

  • Operating machinery and/or power tools

  • Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
