Scheduled: M-F 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (with overtime as needed)

"Must Haves":
-Flexible with work schedule (will work 50 hours per week).
-Ideal candidate has worked in manufacturing environment (food industry a plus but not required).
-3+ years of prior CI management exp.
-Exp managing 5+ workers. Six sigma (Black belt a plus).
-Communication skills are imperative. Spanish bilingual a plus.

Job Summary:
Reporting into the Factory Director, the Continuous Improvement Manager will provide a full range of productivity services to Operations and direct cost reduction programs for the facility including leading lean events- developing and measuring facility systems and developing and delivering continuous improvement training programs for the facility. Direction in fields of the best business practices including- but not limited to- yield improvement - workforce utilization-overhead spend - capital utilization- indirect spend- plant utilization and efficiency- working capital both raw material and finished goods. This role will act as a coach for the Client s Management System as well as leading the Site Steering Committee helping to implement Client s Management System. This person will work closely with the Client s Management System Task Force to drive greater utilization of processes and procedures and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization such that business results are achieved. This person will provide direct support and coaching to front line managers, supervisors, and team leaders as they help their direct reports understand and adopt Client s Management System.

The Continuous Improvement Manage will actively participate in annual planning, weekly PDCA meetings, Daily Level 3 meetings.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead transformation analysis, center line definition and associated standard development. Develop control strategies to enable operators to respond to out-of-control situations. Leads root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the process. Coaches teams on CIL, CLM, 5S, FPQ, and Oscar systems execution. Coaches and develops teams by building problem solving skills within the process.

Working Conditions:
" 40 hours per week/8 hours daily/5 days per week.
" Flexibility to adjust shift schedule to work with employees on other shifts as required.

Duties/Responsibilities:
" Manage and evaluate the Continuous Improvement staff including but not limited to performance management and employee development- etc.
" Partner with business leaders on implementation of process improvement (Six Sigma / Lean)

Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree is required, Preferably in Industrial Engineering or related field
" 3+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment is required
" 1+ years CI leading CI projects or transformation projects required
" Demonstrated experience overcoming the inevitable problems and obstacles that surface to meet project timelines and cost initiatives
" Creativeness and desire to not to be bound by past solutions and to think creatively to drive productivity throughout the organization
" Ability to communicate and deal with a range of responsibilities is critical while managing multiple task
" Solid understanding of enterprise business principles and practices
" Presentation Skills
" Mentoring & coaching skills
" Facilitates the line loss analysis (waste elimination and yield improvement) and line throughput improvement plans.
" Leads transformation analysis and centerline definition and associated standard development.
" Participates in internal audit program, food safety committee, and sanitary design team.
Certification required.
" Black Belt Certification preferred: Green Belt
" Advanced skills in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Matrics and ZPI skills.
