Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in California. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives within an industrial manufacturing environment, with a focus on lean principles. As a key member of our management team, the Continuous Improvement Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the manufacturing facility.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement among employees at all levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define improvement goals, prioritize projects, and track progress towards objectives.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings through the application of lean manufacturing principles.
Serve as a change agent, championing the adoption of lean principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and achieving measurable results.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, with certification in Six Sigma or Lean preferred.
