  • Base salary range for Continuous Improvement Manager between $90,000 and $110,000 USD annually


 


At our facility in Pryor, Oklahoma, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Tissue team as the Continuous Improvement Manager:


 


Responsibilities



  • Be responsible for coaching the rigorous usage and ongoing improvement of lean manufacturing tools in the Pryor Paper Mill and Converting Plant.

  • Conduct quarterly loss analyses to identify top opportunities, lead cost savings initiatives, and ensure site action plans are well aligned with the most impactful opportunities.

  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching on rigorous usage of foundational lean tools – PerformEx as a way of working every day.

  • Execute regular loss analysis data drilldowns to identify key opportunities for improvements.

  • Serve as the problem-solving lead for helping teams solve complex issues following a DMAIC process.

  • Lead cost reduction initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications



  • Engineering background with strong understanding of operations and lean principles.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a true people person and problem solver.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (mandatory); Power BI or SAP experience is a plus.

  • Ability to coach teams, build systems, and collaborate within a strong leadership team.

  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an asset.

Your challenge!

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Continuous Improvement Manager L2‘s mission is to ensure progress on deploying and sustaining all elements of the lean production system (LPS) and promote and support continuous improvement mindset growth and methods applications in your site


Individual responsibilities

Accountable


Own continuous improvement (CI) levers and pillars within the plant


Support and track continuous improvement projects to improve processes


Reduce planned downtime by reducing changeover/cleaning time through standardization


Minimize quality issues


 


Responsible


Share best practices with CI Leads across other sites and leverages other site learnings at their site


Ensure that standards are adhered to across systems


Provide input on overall pillar implementation plans


Coach site leadership team to increase maturity of their respective pillars


Help coach other Line Centric Team (LCT) members on CI initiatives and processes 


Experiences and strengths
