LaSalle Network has partnered with our large retail client in the Chicagoland area, who is looking for a

Contract Brand Director

for a long-term, freelance contract. This person will come with extensive Brand Marketing experience and can lead strategic vision planning, commercialization efforts and innovation efforts.

Contract Brand Director Responsibilities:
You will work closely with and support the branding teams to build out a strategic brand and marketing initiatives through 2024 and beyond
You will assist in market positioning, store footprint development and more
You will utilize customer and market insights to develop the brand strategy and identify the key initiatives to tackle over the next 6-12 months
Support writing annual and key campaign briefs for 2025
Work closely with agency partners, internal insights teams and media teams to co-lead the annual planning process end to end; briefing partners and channel teams to create a full communication and marketing plan for 2025
Feed into KPI and evaluation framework against planning objectives for the year
Liaise and collaborate with international colleagues to increase global synergy across key opportunities and initiatives
Work with cross-functional teams to develop branding initiatives

Contract Brand Director Responsibilities:
MBA preferred
8+ years experience with branding and marketing; must have experience in developing effective branding campaign strategies, including annual planning
Experience in leading and developing a large, fast-growing brand
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong organization skills and able to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
