This in-office position may be located at our Charlottesville, VA; Chantilly, VA; or Fairfax, VA facility. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get to Do:\n\nThe Contract Setup Representative (CSG) is responsible for entering contractual related data into the SAP Accounting System for the Mission Systems Sector (MS). Desired candidate should have a working knowledge of the One Source Sales and Distribution (SD) module of SAP. Candidate must have strong organization and communication skills and be able to work cohesively with other functional organizations within the MS Sector organization. The successful candidate will be conduit between Contracts, AR, Program Control and other functional areas.\n\nThe work scope of the position includes, but is not limited to: Reviewing contractual documents for MS Sector\u2019s State, Local, Federal Government and Intercompany customers and the associated PS and SD templates for completion and accuracy prior to data entry being performed. The position requires participation in the setup meetings held by the Contract Representative and attended by all stakeholders.\n\nThe Contract Order Administrator will:\n\n * Enter data related to incoming customer contracts for commercial, government, domestic and international customers into applicable business systems using defined computer software.\n\n * Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.\n\n * Validate data with applicable customer purchase documents and internal policies, procedures and business system requirements for completeness and accuracy.\n\n * Investigate questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.\n\n * Notify appropriate departments of any new or updated data.\n\n * Maintain audit trails.\n\n * Perform a variety of activities in support of the functional areas of Business Management in furtherance of their goals and initiatives.\n\n\n\n\nThe successful candidate will have the ability to take initiative and assume responsibility for the contracts and projects assigned in order to be able to perform all job requirements, have excellent verbal and written skills, the ability to maintain a strong working rapport with internal customers, be multi-task oriented and be able to interact with management, and be detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High School diploma with 5 years of work experience in data entry, accounting, contracts, or other business-related function.\n\n * Will consider Associate\u2019s Degree with 3 years of applied experience OR Bachelors degree with 1 year of applied experience\n\n * 1 year experience with government contracting.\n\n * Experience using basic formulas in Microsoft Excel\n\n * 1 year experience using SAP or other ERP System\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Associates degree\n\n * Professional experience in Aerospace \u0026 Defense industry\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You \u2013 \n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
