Title: Contract Quality Engineer
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Hire Type: Contract, Approx. 8+ weeks duration (W2, paid hourly)

Position Summary:
Participate in new product and equipment testing, test method development, process and design validations, data analysis, competitive testing, and quality improvement projects within a Class I medical products manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations and CAPA documentation activities related to production equipment issues.
- Monitor and analyze effectiveness of process controls in support of validation maintenance.
- Conduct analytical testing and root cause analysis for process nonconformance.
- Develop and prepare facility quality performance reports, charts, and graphs as needed for management decision making.
- Lead six sigma projects as assigned by management.
- Support the internal auditing program.
- Other related duties as assigned by Quality Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years Quality Control experience in a medical device manufacturing facility. Familiarity with quality engineering methods is necessary.
- Excellent computer skills, especially MS-Office applications.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standard.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
