Contract Specialist

ISS is currently seeking a Contract Specialist to support a proposal that we are bidding on with Space Force. ISS is seeking an individual (outlined below) that would be a part of the proposal process; full-time employment would be contingent upon winning the proposal.

Where you will be: This role is in-person at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.

What you will do: Leverage knowledge of Federal contracting principles, laws, and statutes applicable to:

• Pre-award and post-award actions


• Contract negotiation


• Administration


• Policies and procedures


• Price and cost analysis sufficient to review cost proposals


• Confer with technical evaluators

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree


• Active Secret clearance


• 4 years of experience as a contract specialist


• Experience in federal acquisitions and contracts


• Experience evaluating cost proposals


• Bonus points: experience with Space Force.
