Qualifications ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Applies depth and breadth of knowledge of the organization to perform well and/or guide others on the full range of complex or varied assignments that impact the reputation of the organization 2. Directs efforts and provides guidance to align finance and acquisition or strategy, engagement and evaluation work activities and resources so they result in superior services and products. 3. Direct efforts to interpret and advise others on applicable finance and acquisition or strategy, engagement and evaluation policies, regulations, requirements, laws and principles having Agency, IC, and DoD-wide impacts. 4. Assesses ongoing acquisition activities within domain expertise and independently offers alternatives to achieve greater value to the government. 5. Applies superior understanding of the FAR and its DoD and DIA supplements in the execution of all contract activities. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification or equivalent 2. Cost analysis experience 3. Cost type contract experience This position is considered an Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Accordingly, the position's occupant must be certified with the appropriate DAWIA certification based on mission requirements for the position. If the selectee does not currently possess the required DAWIA certification upon entry into the position, selectee will be given 36 months to achieve certification. This position requires DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Applicants must meet the agency’s conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of an initial special background investigation and periodic reinvestigation, completion of any required medical examination and physical requirements, completion of any required personal interviews, favorable completion of any required initial or aperiodic polygraph examinations, completion of any required drug test, satisfactory completion of a two-year Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System trial period, and completion of a civilian mobility agreement. All employees are required to sign an agreement not to disclose, in any fashion, classified information to unauthorized persons. All civilian employees are required to participate in the DoD Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer of Pay (DD/EFT) Program.
