Contract Ultrasound Technician

Ultrasound Technician

to join a big healthcare system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ultrasound principles and procedures, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ultrasound Technician Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients
Prepare patients for ultrasound exams
Obtain and maintain patient history and medical records
Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Document patient care in accordance with established guidelines
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Ultrasound Technician Requirements:

ARDMS certification in a relevant specialty
1-2 years of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting withing OB/GYN specialty
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
