Contracting Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Contracting Project Manager in James Island, SC. This full-time role is designed for a construction professional with a background in commercial and concrete projects. You will oversee all phases of projects, from preconstruction planning to final closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. The position highlights cost management, field coordination, and proactive communication with clients, engineers, and subcontractors. Based in James Island, this role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects in the region.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage commercial construction and concrete projects in James Island from contract award through project completion.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries to keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, change orders, and project documentation for accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee jobsite operations to ensure safety, quality standards, and timeline adherence.
• Serve as the main contact for owners, engineers, and internal teams to manage scope and expectations.
• Apply best practices in construction methods, means, and cost control.
