Structured Finance Back Office Servicing Specialist

Contract- 6 months (w/ potential to convert to FTE)  |  Jersey City, NJ  |  Hybrid (4 Days Onsite)

Mission

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, verify, and authorize daily loan transactions.


• Perform analysis and reconciliation of fee and interest accruals.


• Book loans including Commercial Paper, Non-performing, and Direct/Agented facilities.


• Prepare notices of activities for all participants/customers for loan confirmation.


• Prepare and review documentation related to new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay-downs, commitment reductions, and other loan activities prior to obtaining loan officer approval signatures.


• Manage the daily transfer of loan proceeds.


• Prepare interest and fee billings on all Direct/Agented loans, bill customers, and distribute pro-rata shares to participants.


• Process interest and commitment fees and investigate discrepancies as required.


• Perform reconciliation of Open Cash, Suspense Accounts, and Past Due processing.

  Profile

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory

• Experience in Commercial Lending using the Loan IQ application.


• 2-5 years of relevant experience


• Demonstrated experience supporting a variety of lending portfolios as both Agent and Participant.


• Knowledge of financial products, particularly Loans, Guarantees, and Standby Letters of Credit.


• Knowledge of loan products and principles of cash payments in USD and foreign currencies.


• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work independently.


• English language proficiency.
  

Nice to Have

• Advanced proficiency with Loan IQ.


• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
