Job Description - Contracts Administrator

Job Title: Senior Contracts Administrator

Location: Huntsville, AL

Job Description: Canvas, Inc. is seeking two positions for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our growing family! As a member of the corporate team, this individual will work with senior leadership, program managers, and staff to manage the overall contract management responsibilities for a variety of DOD prime contracts and subcontracts.

Required Responsibilities and Experience:

  • Familiar with Contract Requirements Packages (CRP) and what all it entails.

  • Planning and managing the progression of the contracts

  • Manages day-to-day administration of contracts and subcontracts.

  • Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.

  • Establish and maintain complete, well-organized contract files.

  • Research, analyzing, data gathering, preparing, and reviewing CRPs for submittal.

  • Creating and analyzing funding documents.

  • Coordinating/attending meetings with staff sections to establish requirements.

  • Research and analysis to determine modifications required for current contracts.

  • Liaison between COR and contract customers.

  • Skill set that includes 5-10 years of contracts experience working with Government contracts.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Engineering, Education or Science.

  • Experience requirements: 10 years total with BS (or 14 years total with HS)

Required Security Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.
