Description

The Opportunity

As a Contract Administrator 2 you will provide professional contract administration support to portfolios the full contract lifecycle, from pre-proposal activities through final closeout. Working under the general direction of a Contract Manager, you will support the formation, negotiation, administration, and compliance management of standard and moderately complex contracts, modifications, and agreements. You will help develop contractual documents, support proposal and award activities, and administer agreements with U.S. Government, state and local government, GSA Schedule, grant, cooperative agreement, and commercial customers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and support negotiation of contracts and agreements of varying types, including firm-fixed-price, time-and-materials, IDIQ, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based contracts, teaming agreements, grants, cooperative agreements, non-disclosure agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other contract-related documents.
  • Review customer terms and conditions, identify potential risks, incorporate Company-preferred contractual positions, and secure required internal approvals prior to execution.
  • Negotiate changes to standard terms and conditions, as appropriate, with guidance from the Contract Manager or other designated approver.
  • Support the proposal review process by reviewing solicitations, identifying contract risks and performance gaps, drafting contractual clarification questions, contributing to mitigation strategies, and supporting formal and informal proposal drafting.
  • Document agreements and key decisions in writing, maintain complete and accurate contract files, and ensure proper contract approvals are retained for audit purposes.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant contract and procurement regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation and agency supplemental regulations for Tier 1 federal clients.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and other Contracts team members to promote consistent contract administration practices and timely resolution of contract-related issues.

What We Value

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree 
  • Experience in contract administration, procurement, grants or cooperative agreement administration, proposal support, or experience working with U.S. Government, state and local government, GSA Schedule, or commercial customer contracts is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Deltek CostPoint system strongly preferred.
  • US work authorization required.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $66,000 to $75,000 and may vary down by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are based on internal equity, market analysis, and the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
