As a Contract Administrator - Level 3, located in Chandler, AZ, you\u0027ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position can also be based out of Melbourne, FL.\n\nA Contract Administrator produces high quality Contract Management related products supporting the NGSP Launch and Exploration Division (LED) Targets and Interceptors Operating Unit (TAIOU) programs. This position requires a basic understanding of DOD contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a team player; but also, a strong independent contributor with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach.\n\nIn this job, you will:\n\n * Prioritize proposal activities and working on multiple tasks simultaneously \n * Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate contract provisions \n * Serve as key business advisor to the program managers on contractual and operational matters\n * Plan and execute successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates, favorable terms and conditions on both contracts and other agreements inclusive of teaming agreements required to assist in mitigating risk and meeting overall financial goals\n * Maintain our excellent working relationship with customers to effectively communicate, administer, modify, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contractual agreements.\n * Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines\n * Offer guidance and work collaboratively with a multitude of organizations ranging from engineering, program management, finance, global supply chain, and security for seamless contract administration\n * Enter and manage data in the Contract Management System (CMS)\n * Other duties as assigned\n\n\n\nIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional contracts experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional contracts experience.\n * Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree\n * Experience negotiating and administering various contract types\n * Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements.\n * Knowledge of multiple contract types including Fixed Price and Cost Type with various fee structures.\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active Secret clearance at time of application\n * Recent experience as a Contracts Administrator for Department of Defense contracts\n * Current Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance\n * Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS\n * MBA or JD\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Click the link below: https://www.northropgrumman.com/space\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
