As a Contracts Administrator \u2013 Level 3 or 4, your role at Aurora, CO will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\n\nReady to join forces with our visionary team? \n\nOur Contract Administrator is responsible for supporting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract close-out activities, contract administration and customer contact activities to provide and ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements. You will be a member of the program management team, supporting program success and new growth opportunities across the portfolio.\n\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\n\nYour Role and Impact:\n\n * Act as the primary interface with the customer for contractual issues\n * Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood\n * Participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications\n * Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies\n * Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters\n * Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System and Enterprise Accounting System\n * Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submission of invoices\n\n\n * Other duties as assigned\n\n\n\nIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!\n\nThis position can be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.\n\nBasic Qualifications for Level 3:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 5 years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 3 years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 PhD with 1 year of professional experience \n * Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree\n * Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access\n * Experience in contracts, proposals, business management or other similar industry experience\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Level 4:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 8 years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 6 years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 PhD with 4 years of professional experience\n * Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree\n * Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access\n * Experience in contracts, proposals, business management or other similar industry experience\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements\n * Knowledge of multiple contract types including Firmed Fixed Price (FFP), Time \u0026 Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee or Cost-Plus Award Fee\n * National Contracts Management Association (NCMA) Certification\n * Current, active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret/SCI security clearance\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Total Rewards\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
