Come be a part of what\u2019s next.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nThe Experiences Business \u0026 Legal Affairs team is looking for an experienced contracts specialist (aka contracts coordinator) to handle a wide array of responsibilities related to Netflix\u2019s Experiences group. The Experiences organization at Netflix creates, develops, and produces ticketed, location-based entertainment based on Netflix\u2019s shows and films. Through immersive experiences that expand and enhance stories from the screen, the Experiences team gives fans around the world the opportunity to step into their favorite titles. Recent successes include the launch of Netflix House in King of Prussia (Pennsylvania) and Dallas (Texas), award-winning runs of Stranger Things: The First Shadow stage show on Broadway and on London\u2019s West End, as well as title specific experiences (Stranger Things: Face the Dark; Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts; One Piece: Quest for the Devil Fruit; Squid Game: The Trials). \n\nThe Role\n\nIn this role, you will be deeply embedded within a business function and should be comfortable interacting daily with both commercial, marketing and legal cross functional partners. This role will: \n\n * Draft initial Experience contracts and administer and distribute these agreements in collaboration with other specialists and legal counsel\n\n * Act as a cross-functional liaison for questions relating to agreements, including across Consumer Products, Finance, Real Estate, IP, etc.\n\n * Handle NDAs and initial partner diligence (compliance checks)\n\n * Advise on and implement improvements and efficiencies to existing workflows or systems\n\n * Partner with various rights and intellectual property legal teams on rights clearances, trademarks and brand enforcement.\n\n\n\n\nThis role is based in Los Angeles, CA, and reports to the global Senior Director of Consumer Products \u0026 Experiences. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, demonstrate great initiative, be flexible and open to supporting emerging initiatives, and be excited and inspired by the opportunity and Netflix culture. To excel in this role as a Contracts Specialist, you must have strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You must be a great verbal and written communicator, able to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities at the same time, and be self-motivated, quick-thinking and adaptable to change. You must have the ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.\n\nWhat We\u2019re Looking For\n\n * 5+ years of relevant experience as a contracts specialist/coordinator, contract manager, or paralegal, ideally including familiarity with the location based entertainment industry.\n\n * Experience in entertainment and/or law firms or legal departments is a plus.\n\n * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)\n\n * Ability to work autonomously, reliably and proactively within tight timeframes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment\n\n * Ability to take initiative to identify and solve problems in a business-friendly and solutions-oriented manner\n\n * Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines\n\n * High degree of professional ethics and integrity\n\n * Flexibility to work across various projects and teams\n\n * Fluency with Google Suite and Airtable, and adaptable to learning new systems and tools \n\n\n\n\nGenerally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $140,000.00 - $230,000.00.\n\nNetflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
