Control Engineering

Responsible for Program Execution for Machine Controls and Robotics.

Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.
Design and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems.

Requirements:

Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated understanding of plant floor work.
General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
Understanding of company’s system and 4 walls within the site or program.
Prior work experience as controls engineers in the automotive field.
Knowledge of company’s global controls architecture.
Experience in PLC and HMI programming, Ethernet and/or Devicenet networks.
Demonstrated basic understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process.
Required (5-7 years of experience as a controls/robotics engineer).
Prior work experience as controls engineers in the automotive field.
Knowledge of company’s global controls architecture.
Bachelor’s degree with major in engineering or equivalent experience/training. Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment.
