Our Potential Opportunity  

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking Control System Manager to join our dynamic team. The Control System Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the control systems scope including DCS, ESD, SCADA, F&G, metering, and associated packages, from engineering and procurement through commissioning and startup. Extensive experience with Schneider Foxboro DCS and Triconex ESD Systems is mandatory for this role.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver 

  • Manage the full control systems scope across all project phases including engineering, procurement, vendor management, FAT, installation, and commissioning.
  • Lead and manage a team of control system engineers, specialists, and site supervisors, ensuring the delivery of all ICSS deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Own the overall ICSS design and integration, ensuring seamless connectivity between Schneider Foxboro DCS, Triconex ESD Systems, SCADA, F&G, and third-party systems.
  • Manage all control system vendors including Schneider/Foxboro, Triconex, and third-party package vendors, tracking deliverables, resolving technical issues, and managing commercial performance.
  • Lead FAT and SAT planning and execution for all ICSS packages; oversee control system commissioning and startup activities on-site.
  • Ensure all safety instrumented systems comply with IEC 61511; oversee SIL verification, functional safety assessment, and proof testing management.
  • Represent the control systems function in client and PMC reviews; manage client technical queries and approval processes.
  • Monitor control systems budget and schedule performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to protect project objectives.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 13–15 years of control systems experience with at least 5 years in a senior management or head-of-discipline role on major EPC projects.
  • Mandatory extensive hands-on expertise with Schneider Foxboro DCS (Foxboro Evo / I/A Series) and Triconex ESD Systems.
  • Deep knowledge of ICSS integration, functional safety (IEC 61511), and OT cybersecurity (IEC 62443).
  • Functional Safety Engineer certification (TÜV FS Engineer or CFSE) is highly desirable.
  •  PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is an advantage.
  • Expert command of Foxboro Evo / I/A Series DCS architecture, configuration, and integration, from design through commissioning.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Triconex TMR safety system design, programming, testing, and SIL compliance management.
  • Comprehensive ability to manage complex ICSS projects integrating DCS, ESD, SCADA, F&G, metering, and third-party packages.
  • Strong leadership of IEC 61511 SIS lifecycle activities including SIL determination, logic solver specification, and functional safety validation.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62443 and cybersecurity hardening requirements for DCS/ESD network environments.

Soft Skills:

  •  Proven executive-level leadership of large control systems teams in complex EPC environments.
  • Ability to anticipate technical and commercial risks across the full ICSS scope and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage client relationships, vendor performance, and internal team alignment.
  • Confident, well-reasoned decision-making in high-pressure project environments with significant technical and schedule implications.
  • Dedication to building organizational capability through mentoring of engineers and technical staff.
