Who We Are

Regenified™ was founded in 2022 by the pioneers of regenerative agriculture. Our founders are known and recognized as the leading figures and guardians for regenerative agriculture and its journey to mainstream agriculture. Regenified’s purpose is to protect the narrative around regenerative agriculture from greenwashing, while providing recognition and reward to the farmers and ranchers who successfully implement ecosystem-saving practices as part of their operations. Our mission is to transition the world’s supply chain to regenerative agriculture by offering the most reliable standards and verification services. To date, our standards have been approved by the USDA PVP program  and the largest grocery chains in the world as we actively verify large acres of farmland producing grains, beef, poultry, eggs and cotton. 

What You Will Do

The Bookkeeper/Associate Controller will support Regenified’s financial health through accurate bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and general accounting support. This role will ensure timely and organized financial recordkeeping, assist with monthly reporting, and support internal accounting procedures. This is a hands-on, supportive role ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and contributing to a mission-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Bookkeeping:

• Process payments and manage vendor relationships


• Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll


• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts


• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of entries


• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes


• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls

Controller:

• Preparation of budgets and forecasts


• Budget tracking and comparisons to actuals


• Prepare financial reports and summaries


• Analysis of financial data and preparation of management reports


• Developing and maintaining internal financial procedures


• Contribute to financial audits and tax preparation


• Month-end and year-end close processes


• Contribute to audit preparation and coordination with external accountants

Experience and Skills

• 7-8 years of experience in accounting, preferrably in a Controller capacity


• CPA certification required


• Working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles


• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work independently with clear direction


• Excellent organizational skills and comfort working in Google Workspace


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Bill.com, QuickBooks)


• Ability to maintain confidentiality
