Controller

A well established healthcare facility located outside of Sumter, SC is searching for a full-time, permanent Controller to join their team!

The Controller Job Opportunity:

• Full-time direct hire opportunity
  


• Mon-Fri schedule, business hours
  


• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts.
  


• Great leadership and administration team!
  


• The Controller directs and supervises the complete accounting system and financial function of the hospital. This includes charges, billing, A/R, cash receipts, collections, A/P, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and audits. Facets include in/outpatient and ancillary services offered by the hospital.
  

The Controller Minimum Requirements:

• Preferably hold a CPA certification
  


• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management with a major in Accounting. An MBA is preferred.
  


• Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of hospital accounting experience.
  


• Knowledge of financial management and analysis principles and techniques and managerial skills typically acquired through 2 to 3 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in health care auditing and reimbursement.
  


• 1 to 3 years experience as a hospital chief financial officer preferred.
