Controller

Job Title: Controller    
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay scale: $85,000

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k)

Job Type: Salaried Exempt, Full-time, Direct Internal Hire 

Overview: Oversees the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and strong internal controls. This role partners closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage month-end and year-end close


• Prepare and distribute financial statements and supplemental reports


• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures


• Assist with the annual budget process


• Oversee Accounts Payable


• Oversee Accounts Receivable


• Oversee all accounting operations


• Manage business licensing


• Complete annual tangible personal property tax returns


• Coordinate external audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors


• Assist branch and office staff with accounting and finance questions


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer
  

Requirements & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required


• CPA or CMA certification preferred, but not required


• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required


• Advanced proficiency in Excel


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines


• Dependable and punctual


• Positive attitude and professional demeanor 

 This position has supervisory responsibilities.
