ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management: Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and class list reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Internal Controls: Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets.
Grant Budgeting: Work with the CRO to develop budgets for grant applications.
Grant Reporting: Ensure all transactions related to grants align with the fiscal grant reporting requirements as designated by each grantor. Process class and GL code changes as instructed by CRO.
Financial Reporting: Analyze financial data and present accurate reports to leadership monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annually.
Budgeting: Create the organization’s annual budget and assist with the organization’s planning process.
Variance Analysis: Analyze budget-to-actual variances, provide clear explanations, and collaborate with leadership to support informed decisions and responsible resource use.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Sector Experience: Required professional experience specifically within the non-profit sector.
Compliance: Strong understanding of federal and state grant reporting.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise with payroll.
Industry Experience: Experience within a healthcare or behavioral health environment is highly preferred.
Certification: CPA or CMA certification.
Technical: Advanced Excel capabilities.
COMPETENCIES
Integrity: High ethical standards regarding financial stewardship.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex financial data for decision-making.
Communication: Ability to clearly relay financial insights to the CFO and program managers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role is primarily performed in an office building with standard office environment and controlled temperatures. When working outdoors or at a job site the employee may be exposed to construction equipment or other moving objects/equipment; reference job site specifics. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk/hear, see, read, and personally interact with others.
