🔎 Our client is Hiring: Controller (Onsite – Fairburn, GA)

 📍 Location: Fairburn, GA | Industry: Construction | Full-Time | Onsite

We’re a fast-growing construction firm based in Fairburn, GA, delivering high-quality commercial projects across the region. We're looking for an experienced Controller to lead our finance and accounting operations and play a key role in our continued growth. This is a role that is for an experienced Controller who is looking to move into an CFO role soon. 

🔧 What You’ll Do:

 As Controller, you'll report directly to the CEO and oversee all aspects of financial management, including:

• Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and period-end close


• Managing cash flow, treasury functions, corporate card programs, and banking relationships


• Supporting audit prep, compliance, and tax filings


• Overseeing contract administration and bonding requirements


• Partnering with Project Management and Operations to align field data with financial reporting


• Supervising and mentoring the accounting & finance team


• Acting as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)


• 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, ideally in construction


• Strong knowledge of GAAP, WIP reporting, and project-based financials


• Experience with Foundation software or large ERP


• MUST HAVE percental of completion accounting skillset/ experience


• Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills


• Coaching and mentoring leadership style, someone who wants to help grow their team's careers and skillsets
