Our client, a growing real estate investment firm in Westwood is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting function. This is a key leadership role in a lean, dynamic environment — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys rolling up their sleeves.

🔑 What You’ll Do

• Own day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close


• Oversee two direct reports and manage third-party AP/AR support


• Prepare financial statements and coordinate annual budgets


• Manage cash flow, internal transfers, and intercompany activity


• Interface with lenders and respond to financial documentation requests


• Collaborate with external CPA during tax season


• Work closely with property management on CAM reconciliations

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of accounting experience (real estate or property management preferred)


• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)


• Strong knowledge of cash management, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting


• Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks, or similar platforms


• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with excellent communication skills
