Controller - Generous Compensation

A licensed general contracting firm based in California is seeking a Controller to manage financial operations from their LA headquarters. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting, financial planning, reporting, and compliance functions, as well as developing financial policies and training initiatives.

• Oversee day-to-day financial management operations, including accounting, financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, systems, and compliance functions.
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to establish and execute robust financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Direct comprehensive staff development and training initiatives to enhance financial management capabilities within company.
• Manage the transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite in 2025.
• Lead a team of four employees.
• Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role, along with a Bachelor's Degree. Experience in non-profit, construction, or project accounting is a plus.
