Controller - Rewarding Work

Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an interim Controller to support a client in the Dublin, OH area. The role will support the CFO with general accounting operations functions to include:

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

• Prepare and analyze financial statements

• Utilize NetSuite for various financial operations

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain audit schedules

• Support the team in financial planning and analysis

• Aid in audit preparations

• Maintain knowledge and understanding of inventory

In addition, the interim controller will also support some financial analysis and FP& A tasks. The client is expecting to need interim controller support for at least a few months. Role is based primarily onsite at the client's location in Dublin, OH.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA or related advanced degree is preferred

• Demonstrated experience in the role of Controller with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting operations roles

• Proven expertise in Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite software

• Solid background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Solid understanding of business principles and practices

• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills

• Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups)

• Ability to work with different departments and collaborate with a team.
