Support the Passenger & Light Truck Tires Original Equipment (PLT OE) Americas financial planning processes, including the strategic planning, operational planning (budget), and monthly forecasts; support the monthly actual and forecast process, including reporting of the profit and loss statement, market performance report and risks and opportunities

Monitor and book customer sales accruals

Achieve transparency on all drivers to the PLT OE Americas financial results by providing all necessary reconciliations and analysis

Provide weekly updates of estimated financial results for the current month; prepare relevant business scenarios and analysis to business partners to drive positive impacts to the PLT OE Americas results; conduct training and guidance on all key business processes including Key Account Management (KAM), Sales, Manufacturing, and R&D

Participate in efficiency improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies, drive improvement solutions by working with teams across functions, if necessary; learn new tools in the area of data analytics and artificial intelligence

Support the sales account teams with customer quotations as a trusted financial advisor

Evaluate business cases and support decision making on future business strategies

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or comparable degree program

+ 2+ years experience in Finance and/or Controlling.

+ Experience in financial budget/financial controlling process

+ Experience in MS Excel and other financial tools

+ Ability to travel internationally occasionally (1-2 trips per year)

+ Continental is able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity for domestic internal candidates only.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ 5+ years experience in Finance and Controlling
