WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CONTROLS ENGINEER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level

FUNCTION: Operations

LOCATION: Clarksville, TN

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Responsible for technical assignments that further develop engineering skills usually under supervision of a more senior technical staff

Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications

Lead assignments that have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables

Perform work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents

May lead or coordinate daily task.

May require working on multiple shifts

Lead all project management activities including concept development, feasibility analysis, scope definition, cost estimating, specification and drawing development, business risk evaluation, vendor evaluation, resource allocation, development of manufacturing options, scheduling, and installation

Identify and develop expertise in new technologies across industry that can be applied internally for development of innovative processes to deliver new products or packaging to the marketplace

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

Are you proficient in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming? Do you have knowledge & experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Allen Bradly or Beckhoff controls?

What is your previous controls/automation experience?

Are you comfortable setting direction and coordinating the work of others to accomplish objectives?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Expertise with PLC’s, SCADA, HMI’s, and related equipment

General knowledge of Industrial Networks

Knowledge/experience with Coordinated Work Systems

Manufacturing Process Control Systems

Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills with an ability to recommend continuous improvements

Strong desire to learn, understand and apply technologies

BS Engineering Degree (Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Chemical), or AAS with 5+ years’ experience, or 5+ year’s comparable military experience

BENEFICIAL

Knowledge of SQL databases, data collection systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and SAP

Previous manufacturing and/or industrial engineering experience

Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills

Paid Leave:
