Exciting opportunity as a Controls Engineer. Zing Recruiting has partnered with a long-standing customer that is a leader in the automotive industry dedicated to innovation, quality, and excellence in every aspect of their operations. Seeking a Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team.
This is a part-time position that is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer that would want to mentor and coach and leverage their expertise and experience in a flexible work environment.
Pay: $33/hr.
Hours: Flexible 21-26/wk.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and designing control systems for manufacturing process using Allen Bradley and related hardware/software
- Write, test and debug PLC programs to automate machinery and equipment
- Design and implement intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems
- Create and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and layouts for control panels and system installation
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Experience with Allen Bradley logic
- Experience with HMI Interface
- Design program screens experience
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including schematics, wiring diagrams and motor controls
