Controls Engineer Entry Level

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Controls Engineer to support the programming, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and production systems. The location is in Sparrows Point, MD.

This individual will work alongside experienced engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. The position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with industrial automation technologies, including PLC programming, HMI systems, and electrical controls.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of automation and control systems, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in working directly with manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving technical problems, and learning new technologies.

This individual should have foundational knowledge of PLC programming, HMI systems, and electrical controls, gained through coursework, internships, technical training, or previous work experience.

Candidates with exposure to Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, industrial automation, manufacturing equipment, or electrical systems are especially encouraged to apply.
